Okay…so obviously I have been ALL worked up this week regarding my Fredericksburg blog stalker. Not only have I had images of some weirdo creep sitting in the dark staring at my pictures plotting to try and steal my kids, I have gotten my friends and total strangers concerned too!
But I have some FABULOUS news!! After doing some research and one of my fellow bloggers retracing her steps via the trackers, we have figured out that there is no Fredericksburg. Yes, that is correct! Despite the multiple hits you see on my blog and many others FROM Fredericksburg, there more than likely is no one out there checking in all day long!! You see, my home town apparently uses Cox Cable and Cox has a transmitter in Fredericksburg…and you see where this is going. So anyone (or most I guess) that logs in from Winfield shows up as Fredericksburg. So ALL this time I have thought it was some one person out on the east coast and it has been my friends and family the entire time!!!
So, that being said, while the trackers are fun, I guess they are obviously not that reliable!! As we were talking about this last night and trying to figure it all out, Chris and I laid in bed and laughed and laughed and laughed at the fact that it is my friends and family doing it all!! Sheesh!! He was hoping that our internet transmitter was in Fredericksburg so that I would be my own stalker!!!
So, Chris has already installed some other tracker that is much more reliable (if you are interested e-mail me and I can have him help you add one too!!), but there is not a doubt in my mind that it is all fine!!
So, if you have called, e-mailed, or commented in the last few days, thank you! I appreciate it!! I don’t have time to return all your notes now as we have friends in town for a few days, but I wanted to post this first thing so you all aren’t panicking about your own blogs!!
For now, we are staying public!! WHOO HOO!!
