Yes, I realize I have used this title before AND this is my second post today, but I am trying to get through all of these pictures!! Or at least make a dent in them! Chris and the kids are upstairs playing Lincoln Logs so I am stealing a little time away for some work in iPhoto and Photoshopping!!
In the summer in Arizona pretty much everything we do (outside anyway) HAS to have water involved in some way, shape or form! It is just too darn hot not to!
Here are a few pics of the kids on the slip ‘n slide with big cousin Trig! I know I have shared lots of similar images, but seriously, it is SO hot here that this is what we do ALL the time! Splash parks, pool, slip ‘n slide and the sprinkler!! Anyway, Trig was a pro at this! He would back up as far as he possibly could and run and slide! He loved every second of it! And I got some really good shots for his mama (my sis)!!
I know in my last post I said I was waiting to do a post just of him! I still hope to do that, but {JUST IN CASE}, I am sharing a few! I had a hard time deciding because there are some good ones!!
First of all, here is more of Gentry’s little bum! I LOVE this suit…a $3 bargain at Wal-Mart! I could NOT pass it up!!
Oh the many faces one makes when zooming down a wet mat!! LOVE these little bits of silliness from Huntler!
And since I am not one to take credit (or blame!!) for things I did not do…this is a shot of my dad’s! I remember as a child seeing a photography book or two around our house. Although he never really pursued it, he had a fancy camera for the time!! He has since gone digital (with the rest of the world!!) and we have the same model of camera…only his is the newer version!!!
The lighting was absolutely horrible that afternoon (mid-day intense sun), but I tried to work with these to tone them down a bit!! I really would love to get some of her in this pose when the lighting is perfect out!!
And these next three are of Trig. We had SO much fun having him here! The kids loved every second of having a big kid around! At one point Huntler even asked if he was a grown up!! Too sweet!! It was sad to have to let him go home, but for every ounce of fun we had with him, his mommy missed him twice as much!
Huntler calls him his “friend brother.” I think that is absolutely priceless!!! And this picture? I think it shows his ornery side!!

We miss you Trig but are so, so glad you got to come with Grandma and Papa!! Huntler and Gentry LOVED playing with you and can’t wait to see you again!! We love you!!
