Okay, so we were getting ready for a super fun playdate this morning (thanks Jessica!) and little miss sassy pants here was being WAY too cute!! Although I have been up since 5:00 a.m. (thank you very much honey for the alarm that sounds like a telephone ringing and scared me out of bed without a second thought!!), we were still running late! Needless to say, Gentry in all of her cuteness prompted a very spur of the moment photo shoot on the bathroom cabinet which caused us to be even later still!! Anyway, I had just fixed her hair and we were grubbing through her caboodle (okay…so really it is a little girls tackle box!!) for matching hair accessories and she focused in on all her jewels! Once I got her barrettes in I ran for the camera and started shooting like crazy!
I thought the lighting was a little better than it turned out to be, but I am pretty happy with the way these ended up!!
A girl must ALWAYS be fully accessorized!! She did this ALL by herself! I had to help get it off, but she got every last bracelet and necklace on with her own two hands!!
And these next ones are just a few from the series I snapped! She was making SO many different and funny faces!! LOVE this little nugget of mine!! And yes, her shirt says “Tough Chick” and she is holding some little chicks…totally coincidental! They are left over chenille chicks from a spring playdate we had that she has latched onto!
And my personal fave of the group…

So…on a completely random note, Huntler has now decided that he wants a train birthday party. Forget the crocodile cake he has been talking about for months, as of two days ago only a train party will suffice. I really don’t care…it is HIS birthday after all, but we already did the whole train thing when he turned two!! Just trains, not Thomas. The thing is, now he is OBSESSED with Thomas and I just can not make myself do a character themed party. Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with them at all, I just happen to really like party planning and prefer something a little more original. I was hoping to just keep quiet about it for a couple of weeks and then he would come back around to the whole crocodile/safari thing, but today he was yammering on about his choo-choo party!!! For the “normal” person, last minute theme choices are no big deal, but we all know how much I like to plan and plan ahead at that! I am taking a couple week break from party stuff but will be back at it again soon! Maybe by then he will be off of this Thomas kick and back to Diego!!
Okie doke…I should get! I should really save this post for later in the week since I have already blogged once today, but I just had to share! Hope my little doll makes you smile as much as she has made me smile today!!

Love the pictures! We’re a bit too little for the accessories, but I can’t wait!! Hubby says I like to “decorate” Jillian with bows
he really has no idea of what’s to come!
Yes, she made me smile, just as you predicted! Precious, precious, precious!
