The High Country

Last Sunday we ventured up to Jerome to take my parents to a ghost town. We were just there in May when some friends came to visit, but we LOVED it and wanted to go back! It is really just a bunch of rusty old vehicles and dilapidated buildings, but it is pretty darn neat if I do say so myself! The colors are so saturated and the atmosphere is just so “different” than anything you experience in your day to day life…at least for us city folk!!

When we were there at the end of May it was down right cold! Although it was cloudy again this trip, it definitely was not cold! However, when  you consider that it is over 100 on a regular basis where we are, it wasn’t  ”that” bad!!
I am happy to report that I loaded up on motion sickness medicine (my mom and I both!!) and didn’t have an ounce of trouble on our scenic ride through the mountains!! If you remember my story from last time, it was NOT good!!
Anyway, the day is just getting started and my munchkins are now awake so I am going to add the pictures really quick and get to enjoying them!! Since I have posted so much lately, I am just adding a few this morning!!
I am pretty sure you are NOT supposed to do this…
