After a long night, I am absolutely exhausted and desperately wish I could just curl up and take a little nap, but since Gentry isn’t exactly the morning napping kind of girl, I have to tough it out until this afternoon while she is out and hope that I can get my little snuggle bug Huntler to rest with me! It shouldn’t be too hard since he is the one who had the rough night. After three hours at school and a restless night, I am pretty sure he’ll be worn out this afternoon!!

First of all…I heard THE BEST news while watching the weather last night. The forecasters are quite certain that today is our LAST day of triple digits for this year! WHOO HOO!! I was personally hoping that this last day would have happened back in oh, June, but considering where we live, that is never going to happen! Assuming it makes it to 100 today, it will mark the 106th day of temperatures over 100 this year. WOW. Think about that…106 of 352 days of temps ABOVE 100. Probably another 100+ are well over 90!! Can I tell ya that I REALLY REALLY miss Kansas right now?!!

I have managed to get through a few more pics…I am going to share those and then get to work on the house. It was spotless until Chris got home at 11:00 last night and somehow in the 8 hours he was home it got trashed?! And since I am hoping to rest this afternoon, I want to get my work done before we go pick up Huntler from school in just over an hour!!

And Grandma Debbie didn’t think he would like his chair!! He fell asleep in it the first two nights after he got it!! The second night (this picture), he got MUCH smarter! He brought over a pillow and his blankets and got comfy!!!

I took this shot for my photography class. The assignment was a self portrait…but it didn’t have to be an actual shot of me. I tried taking my own photo and that was as horrible as you can imagine, so I went with something that “describes” me…my COLORFUL stash of bracelets! I am too tired to go into all the detail I went into on my forum about the connections between me and the bracelets, but here is the photo anyway!

And one last birthday shot of Huntler. This was taken at school on Tuesday when I took cupcakes and juice in. His teacher made him a birthday crown!! He was loving all the attention!

And now I am off to get laundry going and the mess that has somehow happened cleaned up!!
