Sorry, I am rambling again. So my Gymbo partner in crime calls me up this morning and I do what all clothing obsessed mamas do…I hopped online to see this cuteness for myself! Lisa and I have had many a chat about the Mod Zebra line from way back when…like from back before I even had Gentry!! She has an older daughter and at one point owned most of the line I am sure!! Since it was before my obsession, I have checked out this fabulousness on E-bay and it is still extremely popular! Seriously…we may be weird but we talk about this stuff…and often enough that I remember it well!!

So I am irritated that they came out with this so darn close to Christmas! I mean, really now, what kind of marketing is that?!!! Oh yeah, the smart kind! And to top it off they go ahead and take 25% off EVERYTHING AND throw in free shipping. It would be a crime not to order something, don’t ya think?

Check this out…The picture is tiny and by no means does this piece of cuddly faux fur justice so I am giving you the link too! I could scream this is so cute! And imagine the photos…Ahh, just imagine the photos. I am seeing my sweet Gentry girl on some railroad tracks out in the middle of nowhere. Snow all around. Jacket, headband, darn denim jeans and matching shoes…just sitting on the tracks in all her cuteness. Criminy I should just order the darn thing already!! It is on sale after all!

And the shoes. Ohhhhh the shoes. And there are oodles and oodles of matching accessories. Everything a girl could dream of. {Sigh…}

So I am in quite a predicament. I mean, I have to order something. Have to. As cute as the faux fur jacket is, it didn’t make it into my cart.  I am trying to be somewhat practical here!! But the shoes, they made it. And about 9 other of my favorite pieces!! Ay, ay, ay…

And while on the subject of all things shopping…look at this cute find. I didn’t order it, but man is it ca-ute!!!

So as if I didn’t have a million other things to be doing…I am wasting time on the computer! Oh well, right?! Blogging and surfing the web are WAY more fun than unloading the dishwasher and taking out the trash!!

Now imagine in your mind that photo shoot I was yammering on about above…with Gentry in the faux fur cuteness!! My mind goes wild with all the great images I could capture on my new camera!! {All “vintaged up” and edited into perfection!!} YAY!! Yep…you read that right…I got the camera I have been lusting over for months now, just in time for Christmas!! We bought it off E-bay which made me a LOT nervous, but it came on Monday and is every bit as perfect as one straight from the factory! The previous owner had only fired about 1000 shots on it!! Now that is crazy!! That is like me taking my kids out for about three shoots!! {I take a TON of pics!!} Anyhow, it is SO nice and I am in love with it! Now I just need to get a couple more lenses and I’ll be good to go! So Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary and Happy Mother’s Day to me for the next  year!!! Looks like the whole fam will benefit from my gift though since they’ll all be getting oodles of pictures of the kids!! See honey, everyone is happy!! {wink, wink!!}

Here are a couple of shots from my first test run with it!! The lighting that day was really weird and I have since changed a couple of the settings on it, but they are cute!! Even though these are not the best pictures I have ever taken, I can really tell a big difference already!!

And sassy pants herself. It wasn’t “that” cold out, but her hair was a mess and let’s face it, the hat is cute! And since she is a girly girl and loves clothes and accessories, I take FULL advantage of it!

I need to book our trip on the Polar Express for next year {you have to book WAY in advance if you want a specific date and time} and then decide whether Huntler and I should go make some oatmeal cookies or if I should wrap presents, finish some hair bows, catch up on my forum {I spent three hours on it last night once the kids were in bed and still am not done!!) or pick up the million buttons that got spread from my room to the playroom while I was typing this post!! But hey, they were having fun and entertaining themselves so I guess that I can’t complain…other than the fact that my glass jar got broken in all the fun {thank goodness no one was hurt} and now I have nothing cute to stick my button stash in!! {Gentry has become quite my shadow lately and getting to have ANY amount of time to myself is rare, so I took full advantage of their sibling love today and whipped this out!!}
