WAHOOO!! Two days in a row of posting…look at me go!!! Things around here are still moving right along, but I decided to take a little “me time” and update my blog again this afternoon!

So…first of all I am in the process of redoing my blog. Yes, again! Now that I have figured out I can do it, I will probably change it several times a year!! I just started working on my header yesterday and probably won’t get around to getting anything changed until next weekend, but here is a little hint of what is to come!

And since I honestly haven’t had much of a chance to have my camera out since we have been home, I’ll share some other fun finds that don’t involve pictures I have taken!! {I hope to get the kids out in the backyard playing tonight and get some new images of them!!}

Back before Christmas Shelly blogged about these fun owl finds she happened upon at Target. Let me just go ahead and come out with the fact that I insisted we go to a Target back in Kansas in search of these goodies while we were there and I have been to “our” Target three times now with NO luck! This morning they FINALLY had the much anticipated Valentine’s tableware!!! I was beginning to get a bit frustrated! I see it popping up on several of the blogs I read and every town seemed to have it but mine! Now I can rest easy!! I didn’t get much, but I did get what I wanted…which included this sweet little mug for myself! {And each of the kids picked one plate and also got a little tumbler if you must know!! During my big purge this past week I threw away TONS of old yucky plastic plates and more sippy cups than I can count! We are now only using the melamine plates and bowls and have all big kid cups except for the two sippy cups I kept for each munchkin! I am one of “those moms” who lets my kids drink milk in their beds when falling asleep and I am afraid a regular old cup just wouldn’t work in that situation!!}

And then there is this fun ribbon that came in the mail yesterday. One yard of it. I have NO clue what I am even going to use it for, but now I have it! Having that money in my Paypal account from the shoes I sold on Ebay a few weeks ago is NOT good for my spending!!

So while I am thinking of it, I would love to hear any ideas you guys might have about Valentine’s! I know there are some amazingly crafty gals out there who read my blog and I always love to get inspired by others! I’ll of course share my ideas too!

My big dilemma is that I can’t decide whether to do digitally designed cards or actually create some with paper! AHHH!! Decisions, decisions!! Either way, I want them to be fun and unique! I am thinking they will more than likely be digitally designed cards but have some sort of 3D elements attached or included. Still thinking on that! Maybe I could even use my sewing machine to do something?!! Hmmm….

For Huntler I am definitely using trains. Big surprise!! I checked out the Thomas cards while we were out today and they say things like, “I’ll Choo Choo Choose You,” and “Miles of Smiles for my Valentine.” I can’t remember them all right off the top of my head. I should have written them down!! Any ideas for me?

And then there is Gentry. She is right there with me in the whole owl/bird obsession! But she also likes turtles and frogs. Oh and of course, Tinkerbell and all her little fairy friends that she collected at Christmas! And candy. And cupcakes. And just about everything out there! Needless to say, I am still thinking on her! 

Huntler will have a party at school {at least I am pretty sure he will!} and then our playgroup already has a party scheduled, so at least I know we’ll be able to give them out! I just need to figure out exactly what I want!

Okay…Gentry girl is having some nap issues so I should try to go round her up again and then get busy! Our morning out means that NOTHING got done around the house!

Oh and one more thing…I owe about 15 people emails. If you are one of them, I PROMISE I haven’t forgotten you! I have been so consumed with my big cleaning project and now getting all the Christmas decor put away and just life that I have not been good at replying! I hope to have them all returned by tomorrow night though!
