I don’t like it when my girls fight either. I just want them to love each other all the time and grow up loving each other. How many times do you hear about siblings who cannot stand each other because of stuff that happened as a kid? We try to let them solve their own problems, but we nip a lot of it in the bud quickly so hard feelings don’t develop. Its such a delicate balance isn’t it?

We are having the EXACT same issues at our house! Fighting, fighting, fighting, and Kellen is a lot like Gentry it seems. Everything is a battle with him.

Oh my blog friend! I can relate. I was smiling the entire time I was reading your post. Fighting is the topic in our home right now. It’s driving me INSANE too! I have to separate my girls a lot. They fight over the ANYTHING & EVERYTHING. I think 3 year olds are harder than 2 year olds. I have one of each right now and man…it is not a fun phase. I just wanted to share that you are not alone. Have you heard of a parenting study called “Love and Logic”? Anyway- my fiend recently told me about it and it’s suppose to be wonderful. Our church will do a study in August and we plan to attend. You can google it and also watch some videos on youtube. Have a great weekend!

You should have been here yesterday.. my kids must have gotten a hold of some “Naughty Little Brat” pills! I almost went over the edge! I feel you.. and perhaps one day we will miss the 200th screaming match of the day.. but today is not someday.. and today I have a headache.. HAHA! Hope to see you soon!!

I am so glad to hear that I’m not the only one with kids that fight NON STOP! I too am about to go crazy. We even resorted to buying ANOTHER parenting book. I’ll let ya know if it works. Hang in there only a couple more months until preschool starts again!

So, you wrote this blog post about my kids, but changed their names to protect the *innocent*?
Ha!! I feel you on that. And Parker is my Gentry…except he’s a boy. He yells and screams and gets this mean scowl on his face.
Ahhh being a parent…
One thing that works here…Leapster!! Jackson had a Leapster and plays games on it in one room while Parker plays his Leapster and toys in another. I get about 30 minutes of quiet…And they are learning.
Good Luck…it will get better when they are 18 or so…

It must be a girl thing to be opinionated, stubborn and just plain ornery! Gaby was the exact same way I wish I had some advice to give you but quite frankly…I’m not sure how I survived! Hahahaha! Good luck to you friend!
