Okay, so if you are anything like me, the little teaser I posted yesterday probably left you shocked and wanting to know more! I am super curious, I can’t help it, so when I hear or read only bits and pieces of a story, I am always left wanting to know more! So here, my friends, is your more!
First of all, the fact that I am pregnant should explain my lack in posting! My oh my have I been TIRED! It is all I can do to make it until 7:30 or 8:00 at night these days! I forgot how exhausted you are these first few weeks of pregnancy! I haven’t had the energy to do anything, let alone keep up with my blog. That being said, I fully intend to get back in the swing of things after the first of the year! I miss my blog!! I will be in my second trimester by then and hoping I have a lot more energy than I do right now!
Other than being tired and ravenous, I have felt great! Chris swears I am eating us out of house and home! He’s right. I am scared to go back to the doctor next week for fear that I’ll be reprimanded for gaining too much weight too quickly! {It is especially obvious to me because I was in such great shape this summer!} I am trying to continue with light workouts and weights so I can stay in shape and hopefully lose my baby weight quickly and easily! I am super lucky in that I never experienced any sort of morning sickness with Huntler or Gentry either!
I am 11 weeks today. The baby is due July 1st. I am not so secretly hoping he or she comes around June 20th or so for my sake!
We won’t be finding out what we are having! I always said if we had a third, I wouldn’t find out. {We both found out with Huntler and I found out with Gentry but Chris didn’t.} We have one of each and there is no nursery to decorate or anything to do to get ready for the baby, so we are good not knowing! As much as I tend to need control, I am seriously so fine with our decision! It has been so much fun waiting to surprise everyone {well, almost everyone anyway!!} with our Christmas cards! Now I am excited to have something fun to look forward to at the end! Maybe we’ll have to have a little contest once it gets closer!!
One of the kids is going to be really disappointed once the baby does get here. Huntler wants a boy and Gentry a girl of course! I honestly don’t care. Yes, I have a TON of super fab girl accessories that we could use again, but it honestly does NOT matter. We just want a happy, healthy little babe!
We pretty much have our names decided on, but I can’t share! Not for fear that people will try to talk us out of them, but because the control freak in me doesn’t want anyone to steal them! You can rest assured with a Huntler and a Gentry that this baby is going to have one rockin’ name as well!
My H1N1 anxieties have been so extreme because I am pregnant! Is it all coming together now? My freak outs over something I never would have thought twice about before? I won’t get the shot because the baby is so susceptible to toxins. That is one of the reasons we are holed up at home, taking vitamins, chugging OJ and washing our hands like crazy! NONE of us want to get any kind of sickness!!
Hmmm…what else? I think that covers a big part of our baby secret!! We are thrilled to be adding a new little one to love to our family!

So excited to hear the whole story! You are JUST like me, after having 2, one of each, I could TOTALLY not find out what we’re having – IF we ever have a 3rd. But NO WAY could I have done that before. What a fun surprise that will be!
Hmmmm, maybe I should have guessed – going to bed VERY early, your anxiety over the H1N1 and lack of posts, your BABY fever that you’ve mentioned several times in the past – of COURSE you are pregnant, I’m just not that smart to figure it out.
Congratulations! And lucky girl not having any sickness! I will be praying for a healthy baby and that all goes smoothly as your family transitions to 5!!!

Oh yes, it is all making sense now. I’m thinking…I should have guessed! Thank you for the details. Every single thing you wrote sounds exactly like things I would say! Especially about not wanting people to steal the name. I’m dying to know what names you are thinking of though. Will you tell me if I swear not to use them or tell them to anyone else? I’m probably done having babies anyway! Well…maybe just ONE more wouldn’t hurt!
Okay so I tried to comment last night and my whole computer would freeze up whenever I got about ready to hit submit.
After seeing your announcement, it made me want to ditch my Christmas cards and follow suit. But, since we’ve already told all of our family except some distant aunts/uncles I didn’t see it fitting. BUT I may just have to borrow the idea to tell my blog readers! We’re expecting and due July 6. We haven’t announced it on the blog yet, so I guess we’ll see what it brings!!!
Good luck not finding out! We didn’t with our girls and I loved it. This time we will be finding out b/c the control freak in me needs to know which room we’re going to totally move the toys out of and add the crib. Can’t wait to read along with you!!!
I had sooo much fun learning the whole story! I am also glad you are not finding out the sex. We didn’t find out with either one and it was sooo worth the wait. Of course, I got the sexes in the order I wanted — a boy first and then a girl! Enjoy every second of your pregnancy! I can’t wait to see what name you come up with this time! I like unique names!

I haven’t had to keep a secret in a long time. Glad I didn’t have to keep it for too long! I can’t wait to watch your little belly pop out! Of course it will kill me not to know what you’re having, but I understand keeping this one a surprise since you already have one of each. I’m a total planner…but I might be able to do the same if we have one of each and go for a third?!? That’s a LONG way down the road though! HA!
